Endcap Inspirations

A little bird told me it might be fun to decorate my Co-Op endcap for teh Holidays. I am not wanting to go totally red and green, or use fake greenery. That is not exactly the mindset of the Co-Op Shoppers.

Instead, I want to use adorably cute and whimsical things, like striped bunting, and other garlands to create a more festive, holiday mood.

One blogger {here} gives some ideas on how the Anthropologie stores create the mood of their stores.

The tips are:

1.) Create Ambiance : Figure out what excites someone about the products, they might not even know themselves.
2.) Be Fearless : Push the creative envelope and use unconventional methods of displaying your work.
3.) Express Your Personality : Don't regurgitate someone else's aesthetic, just make it pretty in your mind, and hopefully others will love it too.
4.) Details Matter : Let your trademark details show!

Now, how to apply this to my endcap. I am not one to embellish my clothes much, but I do love using natural textures, clean lines, high-quality materials, making things for babies, utilitarian items...

Later!
