New Baby Bootie Fabrics!!!

I have been sewing a ton of these ultra cute baby booties lately. I am super excited how some of them turned out. My fave is the Retro Space Themed ones. They have a certain nostalgia to them that reminds me of my Dad. He loves the weird and the unusual :)

I used to sew the booties with the elastic in them, but ever since I created this newer style (back in September for Strange Folk Fest), I had such great reactions to them. I love them even more than my original style, and I can get more creative with them. I LOVE the end results!!

Discovering My Client

I have been expanding my product line a bit. It just keeps things interesting that way. After watching a LOT of Project Runway, Tim Gunn always talks to the designers about marketing to their specific client. It really makes things easier!
I think my clients are women, age 18-35/40. They love nature, being outside, love natural textiles and earthy colors. They also love utilitarian items that they can use a million times without them falling apart! These items should be washable and earthy colors, so if they get a bit of dirt on them, nobody will know! These items must be easy to use, and fashionable at the same time.

With that in mind, here are a few items that my clients would probably enjoy for Fall and Winter...

Durable Materials

So, my friend gave me some military webbing a while back, and I just love it! I have been using it on my new Cargo Purses. It is rather well-priced too! Just perfect for me, since I like to keep my prices down on my items. Paracord and Military Webbing are pictured below. The better the quality of materials you use, the better your product will ultimately be! This has always been my motto. Also, you might as well use nice materials, othewise you are wasting your time making an inferior product. Just the facts...
